Instructors
Location: Mumbai
Job Profile:
To introduce people to leisure boating, to instruct as per course design, and to skipper the fleet of Aquasail boats as required for various programs. These include keel boat and dinghy courses and programs. Instructors must be adaptable and impart skills with confidence and enjoy teaching first timers. They should be able to conduct a course independently, as well as work in a team.
All instructors will be an integral part of all on-water activities like the Splash and Sailience programmes, events, and regattas. Hence they are required to be flexible and adaptable to diverse sailing activities.
Qualification and Experience
- RYA certified Dinghy and Keel boat Instructor OR/ AND a RYA Certified Coastal Cruising Instructor
- Minimum 3 years experience with a leisure boating company
- Good knowledge of basic boat maintenance
- Strong team player with good communications skills
Aquasail Training Center and Club Manager
Location: Mandwa, Alibagh
Job Profile:
Manage the Aquasail Training Center and Club at Mandwa
The club venue is used for programs where participants include children and adults. These could vary from small groups (1 family) to large groups of 80 or more. The Club Manager would need to be able to independently handle the groups’ on-water and off-water requirements.
The candidate should have had the experience of managing a restaurant, with the ability to independently manage all operational aspects of the business right from hospitality and guest relations to staff and vendor management.
Qualification and Experience
- Hospitality Graduate
- Experience : Minimum 3 years of having managed a hotel, restaurant or club
- Enjoy interacting with people with strong relationship skills
Operations and Events Manager
Location: Mumbai
Job Profile:
Co-ordinate all operations and events, and provide complete back and front end support to sales and business development in terms of execution and planning.
The manager should be able to manage the operations and organise events for each of our products and training programmes to ensure smooth and efficient functioning. He/ she should be a team leader, with the ability to work across functions. Resourcefulness and efficiency are key requirements.
The candidate should be able to leverage experience and combine it with creativity to lead a team to success.
Qualification and Experience
- Post graduate/ diploma in relevant field
- 3 to 5 years experience in event management/ banquets/ related fields
- Strong business development and relationship skills
- High resourcefulness and operational skills to handle merchandising and vendors
Business Development and Marketing Manager
Location: Mumbai
Job Profile:
Develop business, generate revenues across various product options, and build and create awareness and relevance for Aquasail and its product offering.
Business development would include generating revenues at individual, corporate and institutional level. Our product range is unique and exciting, but requires concept and relationship selling. The candidate should have previous experience with high value unique products or with selling to corporate clients. An understanding/ experience of both would be an added advantage.
Qualification and Experience
- Graduate with post graduation/ diploma in relevant field like -- hospitality, management, tourism and leisure, marketing and business etc
- 3 – 5 years experience in sales and marketing of leisure, high end, luxury brands or to high end individuals/ corporate or in the hospitality, leisure business

Marketing Services and Content Manager
Location: Mumbai
Job Profile:
Support business development and operations in the creation and execution of marketing materials and collaterals, as well as content development and coordination. The candidate would also be required to coordinate with advertising and design agencies.
This role will be specifically defined depending on the skills and capability of the person.

- Graduate with diploma in relevant field (marketing/ journalism etc)

Media and PR Manager
Location: Mumbai
Job Profile:
Coordinate media and PR activities for Aquasail.
This is a core marketing function and critical to the company’s brand image building and business development. The manager needs to be able to tie up partnerships with media, ensure visibility and awareness, and build strong relations with relevant media.
Networking skills, good media relations and strong communication are important.
Qualification and Experience
- Graduate with diploma or other qualification in media, journalism or related field
- Approx 3 years with media company, PR or related field
- Good communication skills, both written and spoken
- Ability to be flexible and resourceful with strong relationship skills
Accounts, Logistics and Purchase Manager
Location: Mumbai
Job Profile:
Manage the accounting, purchase and logistics needs of the organisation. The manager should be able to create and implement systems and monitor these. Should be able to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery.
Understanding of the shipping, customs and import-export areas would be an added advantage.
Qualification and Experience
- Graduate in commerce with relevant additional qualifications
- 5 years of accounting and logistics experience
- Relevant industry experience would be an added benefit (import/ export, logistics, shipping etc)
- Knowledge of accounting packages (e.g. tally)
Part time skippers
Location: Mumbai
Job Profile:
We require skilled sailors who would be willing to devote time outside their regular working schedule. We could work out options that would suit your schedules, like weekend sailing and/or part time on weekdays. Commitments could vary from person to person.
Sailors would require to contribute as instructors for the Learn to Sail programme or as skippers for events like Splash, or even be a beach master.
All skippers will go through Aquasail on water training program conducted by Shakeel
Aquasail has been fortunate to work with great sailors who are currently well placed and handling successful and high powered roles in the corporate sector and in business. Even students have found time to be with us during our programs. All of them enjoy sailing with us and being a part of our vision of building the leisure boating industry.

- Dinghy and keel boat sailors – at least national level sailing and racing skills
- Maturity in terms of safety requirements and interaction

Part time roles
Location: Mumbai
Job Profile:
Volunteers to join the Aquasail team to support various functions in different roles on a part-time basis. All roles will provide opportunities to learn as well as to contribute. People will be selected for one of the specific roles mentioned below.
Everyone in the team participates during programs and events, and each one would be required to play a role beyond the specific skills they have been selected for. This is to ensure that a program / event is completed smoothly and successfully.
Candidates will get a chance to see how an event is conceptualised, planned and executed. They will also get a fantastic opportunity to interact with people in the corporate and business sector as well as successful people from different walks of life.
Roles
- Marketing support: working with the marketing team on creation of advertising and marketing materials and collaterals.
- Content development: you will help with content development, web research, and information and data mining. You should be familiar with the internet, and good at written and oral communication.
- Media and PR: you will support the media team to coordinate media efforts and plans. You will help to create media proposals, press releases, sales, coordination of media interactions and follow ups.
- Event management: you will help in all aspects of planning and execution of events and programs including sourcing, planning, idea generation and on-the-ground operations.
- Business development: support the marketing and sales teams in generation of leads, creating business strategy and helping to reach out to different audiences. Work would include making presentations, attending meetings, follow ups, writing proposals and coordinating with the client once the transaction is closed.
