This Women’s day enroll/nominate the women who make a difference to you, for a evening of sailing. Aquasail offers an exciting day where the participants will experience joy of sailing. After an interactive briefing on sailboats and their operations and a practical introduction to sailing, participants will head out on water in our fleet of sailboats. Participants will try their hand at a sailing and experiencing the thrill of racing!

After their sail, the group of women will have 45 minute dialogue with Zia Hajeebhoy, Director Aquasail, at the prestigious Royal Bombay Yacht Club. Zia will also introduce the group to the achievements of Ellen MacArthur.

About Zia

Zia has over 20 years of corporate experience in organizations including Unilever, Reckitt and Colman, IL&FS and Monsanto. She has helped develop and implement business strategies in highly competitive environments. She has worked with brands and categories in different life cycle stages and has built brands and businesses across industry segments. Zia will bring upon her experiences as a business head and managing multiple aspects of business.

About Ellen MacArthur

Ellen MacArthur is the best known solo long-distance yachtswoman. On 7 February 2005 she broke the world record for the fastest solo circumnavigation of the globe, a feat which gained her international renown. She was named 1998 British Telecom/Royal Yachting Association "Yachtsman of The Year" in the UK and "Sailing's Young Hope" in France. She even has an asteroid named after her.
